A-10 Thunderbolt is the climax for air-to-ground attack aircraft. Very effective at low speeds, this bird performs the duty of tank-busting like a boss. 

A-10 is capable of carrying a variety of ammunition, the most notorious one is the main gattling-gun that is placed right below the nose. When fired the GAU gun has its distinct sound which can be quite intimidating.

F-35 Joint Strike Fighter has been in development for nearly two decades. Its production process was not that smooth as it got hit by some of the fierce oppositions as to how costly it was. Despite budget cuts that hindered its timely introduction, F-35 finally took to the skies.

Capable of doing marine operations bound from aircraft carriers, F-35 is claimed to be stealthy. It carries its weapons not on the pylons under the wings but inside its hull, helping the aircraft to be undetectable to the enemy radar.

The latest in that line is the amazing J-20, a stealthy 5th generation fighter. Although it is still too early to claim that this aircraft can rival the likes of F-22 or Su-57, it is a huge leap for China toward possessing highly strategic weapons.

P-51 Mustang is the aircraft that ruled the skies over Europe later in the war. Extremely agile, the Mustang triumphed over the dogfights it encountered.
