Mitsubishi Zero Art

 

Japanese Zeros, or Zekes as the American call it, showed great resilience during the Pacific War. They had good manouevering abilities as well as a good amount of speed.

A6M1 Zero aircraft was also used to attack seaborne target with a capability to carry torpedoes.

Japanese fighters had its unique place in the history of World War 2. They are the ones who mainly carried out the attack on Pearl Harbor. With a torpedo attached to their bellies, their image is quite known to everybody. Zeros are also famous for their kamikaze attacks on US warships.

Apart from their image on the minds of people, they were technically superior vehicles and proved their capacity in numerous air battles throughout the Pacific War.
